An intense vinyasa class that combines strong, long holds (up to ten breaths) with the dynamic actions typical of flow. We build heat and strength through these long holds that combine principles from both Ashtanga and Iyengar traditions.

In Deep Stretch we will focus on long, passive holds to safely increase flexibility, range of movement, and mobility. Longer holds allow us to work beyond superficial muscles and into the body’s connective tissue, including ligaments, fascia and tendons.

Core focuses on building balance and stability by strengthening all the layers of our core muscles. The movements in this class are rooted in advancing your practice from a strong and supple center. We achieve this by articulating the spine safely across all planes. Students will come away from the class with an enhanced sense of grace and control. Benefits include more refined posture on and off the mat.
